La Guilde du jeu vidéo du Québec : more than 300 members and partners!

La Guilde du jeu vidéo du Québec is a non-profit cooperative that brings together independent and international video game developers, creators, educational institutions and related entrepreneurs based in Quebec. As the unified voice of over 330 members and a global leader in the industry, La Guilde is the largest group of its kind in the world.

ITS VISION: AN AMBITIOUS VIDEO GAME INDUSTRY ACTING AS A GLOBAL LEADER AND SETTING THE TRENDS OF TOMORROW’S VIDEO GAME INDUSTRY

THE EXTENT OF ITS MISSION :

• Support member studios by offering them a wide range of services and activities across the province

• Encourage creativity and innovation, while providing support for entrepreneurship

• Act as the unique and proactive representative of the industry to public authorities at all levels, in regards to industrial policies and by setting up promising projects for all

• Contribution to educational institutions to ensure the quality and diversity of the workforce as well as the continuing education

• Creation of partnerships to promote growth, competitiveness and the influence of the entire industry

• Local and international promotion of the Quebec video game industry and support for its development as a global hub

Board of Directors

The Board of Directors of La Guilde is composed of seven administrators elected among the cooperative’s producer members during the Annual General Assembly. Upto two seats may be co-opted in order to round out the Board’s knowledge in pertinent fields of expertise. The Board of Directors:
